Do you love to plan, coordinate, and execute events in the community? We are seeking an outgoing, highly organised, and social star to join this not-for-profit organisation as their new Community Programs Coordinator.

  • Full-time, permanent opportunity
  • Up to $80,000 pa + 10.5% Super + NFP package benefits
  • Located in Frenchs Forest, Northern Beaches
  • Hybrid Opportunity; office, WFH, and out in the community

What the role is all about

  • Coordinating all aspects of "The Belong Club", a free membership club for individuals in the community, created to reduce social isolation and encourage community togetherness and belonging. This includes;
    • Event coordination (ticketing, venues, calendar planning etc)
    • Participate in local events and introduce the organisation
    • Networking with stakeholders and the community
    • Working alongside marketing to create exciting promotions and events for the club members
    • Engaging with volunteers supporting the club
    • Handle client referrals to the club and engage with potential new members

The successful candidate will be

  • Outgoing, friendly, and approachable
  • Highly organised, with prior experience in event or program coordination
  • Strong IT skills & ability to navigate various software such as Eventbrite and Canva
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experienced working with the ageing and vulnerable population

Qualifications or essentials for the role

  • Minimum 12+ months working in events/program coordination
  • Vaccinated against COVID-19 (booster is required)
  • NDIS workers' screening check (to be conducted before the start date)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Drivers License
  • First Aid is highly desirable
