Through the delivery of broad-ranging, high-quality healthcare services, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (South Eastern Section) aims to close the healthcare gap and improve the health outcomes of those living in our regional, rural and remote communities.

The role:

Reporting into the Fundraising Data Manager, this role sits in the Database Team and is responsible for executing donor segmentation, extraction and analysis of fundraising campaigns.

  • Support the team with regular reporting requirements, using SQL to extract data into Excel/Power BI
  • Assist in the creation of new regular reporting as required
  • Prepare donor segmentation/selection for fundraising appeals/newsletters
  • Provide insights and recommendations for post-campaign analysis
  • Actively contribute to business process improvement initiatives
  • Support the Database Coordinators and Fundraising Data Manager as need be

Essential requirements:

You will have experience in the fundraising sector and will understand how to prepare, and present insightful reports on donor behaviour.

  • Exposure to the fundraising sector is a must have – be able to present insights on acquisition, attrition and donor behaviour in general
  • Fundraising CRM experience (ideally Raiser’s Edge but can consider other CRMs experience)
  • Advanced skills in Excel, SQL and Power BI
  • Experience providing analysis and insights
  • A collaborative working style – ability to work supportively to achieve organisation outcomes and interact with a variety of different stakeholders internally
  • Excellent time management skills, be able to prioritise competing demands
