LGBTIQ+ Health Australia (LHA), is the national peak body for LGBTIQ+ health and wellbeing for organisations and individuals that provide health-related programs, services and research focused on lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans/transgender, intersex, queer and other sexuality, gender, and bodily diverse people. LHA members contribute a wealth of diverse expertise, capabilities, and capacities to the organisation. Together, we serve as a formidable and trusted voice. LHA is guided by four foundational pillars of work: policy and influence, member engagement and support, partnerships and collaboration, and the national facilitation of capacity building programs.
In this role, the Director Training and Capacity Building is responsible for the management of the Ageing and Aged Care program (Silver Rainbow Program), and the Disability Inclusion programs. This role reports to the Deputy CEO and oversees the two program leads as direct reports.
To excel in this role, you must be an experienced program and people manager with a passion for working with the LGBTIQ community in the health sector. Key requirements include:
