We are the Australian Climate and Biodiversity Foundation (ACBF), a well-funded not-for-profit organisation with an actionable plan to protect and regenerate our forests. At the heart of our plan is a ‘backbone organisation’ of experts and advocates. It’s a concept derived from research on ‘collective impact’.
Unlike past efforts, we’re spotlighting the value of working with partners from the environmental movement, the business and investor communities, the scientific community, first nations organisations, political decision-makers, and leaders from rural and regional Australia to drive change at every level.
This is not a grass roots effort. Our organisation is governed by a Board chaired by Dr Ken Henry and the directors are experienced and well-connected leaders from the public service, the business community and philanthropy.
As Executive Assistant/Project Officer, you will work with our Executive Director (ED), Head of Funding and Impact (HFI) and Head of Programme (HP) to support the organisation’s growth and deliver key outcomes as approved by the Board.
This exciting role is for a passionate Executive Assistant/Project Officer who prefers a small and busy team. No two days will be the same:
