The Role

As the Gift in Wills Coordinator, you will be supporting the Gift in Wills Manager in developing and implementing a bequest strategy that will aim to grow what is already a significant bequest program.

Your primary role will be to increase the donor pipeline, secure future revenue through identifying potential interest and growing relationships with existing donors. In this role you will lead on the implementation of marketing and donor stewardship projects and will take full ownership of administrative tasks associated with the program, including estate management.

This role is hands-on and will suit an individual who understands direct marketing or campaign management, as well as relationship fundraising. The ability to manage multiple stakeholders including external suppliers and project coordination will be key to success.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Gift in Wills Manager to develop a multi-channel bequest strategy for both Australian and New Zealand markets
  • Implement the bequest strategy through a variety of channels to grow donor acquisition
  • Nurture and grow relationships with existing donors using a multichannel approach (over the phone and email)
  • Create inspiring content, communications, and events to engage bequest donors
  • Liaising with agencies and third parties to execute campaigns in an effective and timely manner
  • Report and present on campaign performance through data analysis in line with strategic objectives
  • Ongoing management of estate administration, liaising with external parties

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar fundraising role
  • Ability to work with a number of internal and external stakeholders to deliver objectives in line with deadlines
  • Proven ability to engage and develop strong relationships
  • End to end project management, including working with budgets and cost-control
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyse and present data clearly
  • A passion and desire to work for an international charity
