About the role

This is an ideal opportunity for a relationship fundraiser who loves speaking to donors and building flourishing relationships. This national organisation helps Australians achieve individual possibilities, and has an established sector leading bequests portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Build and nurture engaging relationships with individuals who may be interested in supporting by including a gift in their will
• Develop relationships with prospective donors and actively share the life changing work of this organisation, to secure support in gifts in wills confirmations
• Explore new innovative and engaging opportunities to significantly build gifts in will pledges and further develop sustained income success in this area
• Keep accurate and up to date records in CRM of all contact and activities with all bequestors and prospective bequestors
• Organise and assist in the preparation of gifts in will functions and events, and attend all planned gifts in will events and functions as required

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Demonstrated experience in delivering successful donor relationship outcomes
• Thorough understanding of broader fundraising, or gifts in Wills solicitation experience, with highly developed personalised and remote stewardship principles
• An ability and internal drive to conduct a high volume of outbound supporter phone calls, and visits with supporters in line with outlined fundraising initiatives
