The Role

Heath Education Team Coordinator – the Consumer Support Services team provides an inbound support service along with an outbound follow-up education service. The Health Education Team Coordinator offers day-to-day support, coaching, mentoring and clinical guidance support to the CSS team within their scope of practice, ensuring the customer experience is of high calibre to our consumers.

    • Provide remote support, mentorship, and ongoing quality assurance coaching to a nationally distributed team, maintaining and developing the skills and knowledge required to provide the highest level of care and customer experience.
    • Provide clinical guidance and expertise
    • Lead and facilitate an ongoing program of learning and development within the team
    • Support and manage online education projects
    • Provide backup support to the CSS team when needed

    Role requirements

    • Qualifications and/or experience within health, nursing, allied health, health promotion or similar setting
    • Practical experience in mentoring, coaching and developing a team of staff to provide a high level of customer experience and high level of care
    • An understanding of medications and their application (training on asthma medications will be provided), or providing health coaching and education services to consumers
    • Be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check or Working with Vulnerable People Check and a National Criminal History Check
    • Advanced level of computer skills
    • Knowledge of or experience in the management of asthma and linked respiratory conditions with current knowledge of best practice guidelines is highly regarded
