As an organisation we are committed to empowering and delivering training programs for frontline workers around Australia. We are seeking an engaging individual who is dedicated and compassionate, to lead our diverse Learning and Development Team.

The Position

Our client has built and continues to grow a culture of exceptional team performance where employees can embrace growth and self-improvement.

The focus of the Learning and Development Manager will be to execute and deliver workshops, as well as manage a small team of 6 with the planning, organising and implementation of a companywide national training program.

This unique person will have the chance to contribute to the continuous improvement and quality assurance by developing fun, engaging, and impactful training measures to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

The Person

You will be passionate, personable, and agile. You will take ownership of the Learning and Development functions. You must be outcome focused and have a desire to lead, manage and support your team. Although previous experience working with an RTO is not necessary, it is highly preferred.

You will have:

• A Learning and Development background and strong leadership skills
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in either education, allied health, social work, or counselling
• Previous experience with the development of content, programs, and solutions
• Previous experience in engaging with stakeholders, strategic management, and quality improvements.
• Strong facilitating, team leadership and people management skills
• An understanding of RTOs, adult learning theories and digital learning principles
