Role Summary
The People and Development Manager is responsible for a full range of general HR functions as well as the development and delivery of strategic initiatives for the organisation.
You will oversee the end-to-end management of the employment life cycle whilst also creating a positive culture that drives performance and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach, advise and promote initiatives throughout the organisation
- Encourage feedback and contributions for continuous improvement
- Establish improvements within the HR practices that may need improvements to learning needs or gaps in information
- Lead the employment lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and their internship program
- Assist in developing and implementing initiatives to strengthen workplace culture and learning and development
Essential Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology, and IR
- 4+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to build strong rapports within the organisation
- Proficiency in MS office – being tech-savvy is desirable but not essential
