About the Opportunity

The Philanthropy Executive will be responsible for creating innovative fundraising campaigns that directly engage with selected major donors, while also engaging personally with these donors to flourish relationships across the donor journey. 

You will be a relationship fundraiser who can steward donors through your personal approach and through the creation of tailored marketing campaigns.   

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to design and project manage tailored donor campaigns to secure support from selected major givers

  • Develop personal relationships with philanthropists to develop their support of humanitarian programs and on the ground projects

  • Engage donors through tailored marketing campaigns, and face to face, telephone and written engagement at focused times throughout the year

  • Develop and manage a rolling engagement program, that may include campaigns, events, and programs across the Philanthropy team

  • Ensure that donors are engaged and inspired about their contributions and that all obligations to donors are fulfilled

  • Provide a high-touch commitment to every donor throughout the development of their donor journey

Essential criteria:

  • Proven success and experience in relationship management and campaign development

  • The ability to achieve results through campaign creation and personal relationship building

  • Success building positive high-level relationships with major donors and other key stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in order to effectively communicate to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders

  • The ability to excel in a self-motivated and independent manner with minimal supervision

  • Project management skills, including demonstrated ability to plan, implement, review and achieve project goals and objectives

  • A genuine interest to make significant impact across domestic and international on the ground humanitarian efforts
