The Role – State Manager, Corporate Partnerships QLD/WA

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, the State Manager will manage a portfolio of accounts, while driving long-term strategic relationships with existing and potential partners to significantly increase corporate revenue. The State Manager will work on business development opportunities across a range of sectors, delivering proposals that address the prospect's business objectives.

As State Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring Corporate Partnership Executive
  • Business Development – identify and research new business opportunities
  • Prepare and present proposals
  • Collaborate with the fundraising team on cross-team fundraising events
  • Identify and secure corporate partnerships
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships, internally and externally
  • Work with Head of Corporate Partnerships to deliver annual KPI reports
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting for state portfolio
  • Develop, manage and implement a strategy for your state

Your Skills and Attributes

  • High level of emotional intelligence and empathy
  • Proven success leading a small team
  • Values align with National Breast Cancer Foundation
  • Minimum 8 years experience in sales, BD, and account management
  • Demonstrated ability to work part of, and manage a team, strong leadership skills
  • Good business acumen, including the ability to understand corporate needs from the customer perspective
  • Time management, efficiency, ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • High level of communication skills, written and verbal
