Fundraising & Marketing Coordinator

Be Centre Foundation

Be Centre is a self-funded charity providing one-to-one Play Therapy for children aged 3–12 years. We are dedicated to early intervention, stopping cycles of harm and helping children heal from difficulties and major trauma, so they can thrive. Our mission is to provide hope and healing through Play Therapy, and to empower children who are experiencing emotional, social or behavioural difficulties, or who have been traumatised to be the best they can be. Early intervention for children’s mental health services for the under 12-year-olds is currently under-funded despite alarming statistics (represented by our growing waiting list), yet the climate is right to make a huge impact by targeting larger scale funding and partnerships. To help us achieve this, we are looking for an energetic Fundraising & Marketing Coordinator to join our team.

The role

The Fundraising & Marketing Coordinator role is at the heart of Be Centre’s need to raise funds to deliver critical services to its clients.

Your primary responsibility will be supporting our events including third party events where Be Centre is the chosen charity. However, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in all fundraising activities including seeking new donors, writing grants, researching opportunities, and administration support.

We are looking for someone who already has experience in events and/or has qualifications in event management and is now looking for an organisation where they can make a difference and is highly driven to forge a career in fundraising.

Key responsibilities

The Fundraising & Marketing Coordinator will support the Fundraising & Marketing Lead with all aspects of fundraising and marketing activity. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Support the development and management of events including third party events
