Bellarine Living & Learning Centre (BLLC) is a neighbourhood house located in the Geelong suburb of Whittington. BLLC provides opportunities for support, empowerment and growth with the local community.

The Foodbank Project Worker will support the Manager in ensuring the efficient and effective running of foodbank funded program. The role will work on the day to day operations of the foodbank.

This will include:

  • Ordering, collection and storage of food alongside a group of committed volunteers.
  • The Foodbank Project Worker will also work to develop and maintain partnerships, and ensuring the funding body evaluation and reporting is completed.

This part-time 8 hours per week contract position would be perfect for a student or someone requiring additional hours. Availability Wednesday mornings is essential.

We are looking for a person who has:

  • Experience in the day-to-day operations of a not for profit organisation
  • Experience partnering with external stakeholders to provide services and programs within the community sector
  • Experience working with a team of paid and unpaid workers
  • Interest in Food Security
  • Drivers licence and access to motor vehicle is essential
