The Opportunity

Are you a looking to take your data career to the next level? We’re looking for an enthusiastic data administrator early in their career to join our team and help develop and support the use of our Customer Relationship Platform (CRM) to help drive further growth in our successful fundraising program.

As part of a team, you’ll focus on donor relations and database initiatives including daily data management, data hygiene, donor and donation reporting, donation processing, bank reconciliation, documenting processes, continual improvement and streamlining processes. This role also supports key data projects (like marketing automation implementation and CRM upgrades) as well as assisting with the manual processing of gifts and other supporter care activities during peak campaign times.

This role will provide exciting opportunities to grow and develop as a junior data analyst within a data-driven team that is embracing new technology.

About You

  • A keen drive for a career in data management and/or analytics.
  • A passion to creatively think, innovate and proactively tackle data issues.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and/or customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage data from multiple sources and competency using IT Systems.
  • Demonstrated skills in database and platform management.
  • Highly developed administration and organisational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience with data processing including donation processing, bank reconciliation and receipting.
  • Understanding of finance and banking systems to support donation activities.
  • Ability to perform basic data analytics with the capacity to learn more complex queries to drive in-depth insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating with external data suppliers to support key fundraising initiatives.
  • Extracting and data mining marketing lists for appeals and campaigns, working to briefs.
  • Manage, develop, test & execute data import processes from external suppliers and/or third party platforms.
  • Daily batch entry of donations within The Raiser’s Edge and ensuring reconciliation with the bank account.
  • Manage & execute the fortnightly Regular Giving payments process.
  • Manage and conduct regular data hygiene tasks to ensure data completeness and accuracy within the database.
  • Liaise closely with colleagues across Strategic Engagement to support their fundraising goals.
