Beyond Blue’s vision is for all people in Australia to achieve their best possible mental health.
Our mission is to work with the community to improve mental health and prevent suicide.
We aim to achieve this by:
We’re in the middle of an exciting transformation to becoming a truly community-centric organisation, and we’re looking for two new Content Writers to contribute their expertise and experience as part of our Studio team.
An in-house creative hub, the Studio sits within the wider Brand & Marketing unit, which is responsible for ensuring the community knows, trusts and engages with Beyond Blue’s brand, products and services. It works across the organisation to design, deliver and optimise marketing activity that increases mental health literacy, generates behaviour change and engages the community in action to achieve their best possible mental health.
Our Content Writers are expected to not only create exceptional digital content, but to serve multiple editorial functions. They work closely with the Studio’s producers and designers, and in collaboration with other Brand & Marketing teams, to bring our marketing strategies, products and services to life.
This can mean telling stories of a person’s lived experience. Or translating complex information into concise, clear and engaging messaging. Or commissioning and managing freelance writers and agencies.
It can mean creating, editing or refining copy tailored specifically for a number of channels including web, email, social media and multimedia.
It can also mean wading through quality assurance analysis, auditing existing content for website migration or helping embed best-practice editorial processes.
What it always means is working in alignment with our values – collaboration, respect, enthusiasm, excellence, innovation and integrity – to produce and maintain assets that embody the Beyond Blue brand.
