The Fundraising and Philanthropy Team

The Fundraising and Philanthropy team is a dynamic, fun and results-oriented team of 20 who work hard to ensure Beyond Blue’s 24/7 Support Service is fully funded with the support of donors, community fundraisers, business supporters, corporate partners, major donors and bequestors.

About the role

The Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for working across community fundraising, challenge events, business supporters and donor enquiries. Reporting to the Community Fundraising Manager, the Fundraising Coordinator will:

  • Provide exceptional front-line customer service to our supporters through phone and email
  • Resolve complex supporter queries in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Manage the end-to-end outcome of each enquiry, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Support with reporting and data management needs of the team
  • Carry out engagement plans with top fundraisers, always finding ways to thank, honour and re-engage them.

About you

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Exceptional customer service, written and verbal communication skills
  • Background in fundraising or demonstrated experience in a similar front-facing customer service role
  • Ability to form strong connections with individuals in a short period of time
  • Attention to detail to keep our donor and fundraiser records up to date
  • Willingness to learn all things fundraising
  • Warmth and passion for giving love to our fundraisers and donors!

If you have exceptional customer service skills homed in previous fundraising roles, the retail or hospitality sectors, we are keen to hear from you!
