Our teams are growing, and we require an experienced Case Manager with skills in providing front line support to families who are in the child protection system. You will work alongside parents to support and coach them to develop a family environment that nurtures and supports their children to thrive within their homes. This role involves intensive case management, home visiting, on-call, psychoeducation, advocacy, connecting parents with specialist services and community resources as well as preparing reports for DCJ.
Anglicare can provide training to become an accredited therapist in Parents Under Pressure (PuP), a leading Australian evidence-based practice developed by Griffith University in Queensland. The PuP framework combines psychological principles relating to parenting, child behaviour and parental emotion regulation within a case management model.
You will have a University qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare/Community Services or related degree with at least 3 years work experience in the Child Protection system.
