Are you passionate about making a difference in aged care? As a Lifestyle Consultant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Lifestyle Coordinators and Life Enrichment teams in delivering impactful lifestyle programs and fostering a community grounded in empathy, dignity, and the love of Jesus.

About the Role:

  • Assist in implementing Anglicare's Rhythm of Life program, enhancing resident well-being and fostering a vibrant community.
  • Provide ongoing education, coaching, and mentoring to Lifestyle Coordinators, Carers, Chaplains, and Pastoral Carers.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, contributing to audits, and implementing best practices for a holistic, enriched resident experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop Programs that promote resident dignity and choice, ensuring a lifestyle that reflects individual needs and preferences.
  • Support Rhythm of Life program rollout, aligning with Anglicare's lifestyle strategy.
  • Provide education, coaching, and mentoring to Life Enrichment and wider lifestyle teams.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, contribute to audits, and drive continuous improvement across programs.
  • Collaborate with Lifestyle and Chaplaincy teams to create holistic programs addressing social, spiritual, and wellness needs.
  • Maintain safety standards, report incidents, and participate in workplace safety initiatives.
  • A multi-site role and will involve travel between homes

Requirements

  • A valid driver's licence to effectively travel between sites
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant area; such as Applied Science (Diversional Therapy), Health Science (Leisure and Health) or Health Science (Recreation Therapist)
  • Relevant experience in aged care, including minimum of two years in a leadership role.
