We are CatholicCare NT, a not-for-profit organisation, providing social services and programs to individuals, couples, families, children, groups, schools and across communities in Northern Territory. The Specialist Family Violence Services (SFVS) team provides counselling, case management and crisis support to women and children who have experienced or at risk of experiencing domestic and/or family violence. We need you take responsibility of the implementation, leadership and integration of the program.

You will love this opportunity to step into a leadership role and provide vital support to our Regional Manager, as you:

  • Work within a domestic violence practice framework, apply skills, knowledge and experience in crisis intervention, safety planning, group work, counselling, case management and community education
  • Provide support and guidance to ensure staff deliver high quality, responsive case work and services, in line with contractual obligations, mandatory reporting legislation, and the needs of the community
  • Develop and maintain collaborative networks and relationships with relevant government and community based agencies, and community representatives, to enhance service delivery, referral pathways and ongoing support for clients

To be truly successful in this role, you require a degree qualification in Psychology, Counselling or Social Work along with experience in the field; just as you'll find yourself referring to your acquired skills through your experience in team leadership. Additionally, your cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people will see you thrive in this position.
