Launch Housing has an ambitious and singular mission to end homelessness. We aim to get people housed, keep them housed and be an influential voice on ending homelessness. Clients are at the centre of everything we do.

As a job share role, the Group Managers, Youth Transitions play an integral part of Launch Housing's client services management team. Reporting to the General Manager, Keeping Housing this role manages Launch Housing's programs aimed at empowering young people towards long-term and sustainable housing outcomes.

You will oversee programs across three locations. These include: two Education First Youth (EFY) Foyers located at, Kangan TAFE (Broadmeadows) and Holmesglen TAFE (Glen Waverley) and Youth Support Services delivered from Launch Housing's Cheltenham site.

Launch Housing is committed to the Advantaged Thinking Practice Approach and EFY Foyers for working with young people experiencing homelessness. This job share role requires a focus on program design, delivery and evaluation as well as continuous advocacy for EFY Foyer campaign.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in human services, business administration or equivalent
  • Demonstrated understanding of Advantaged Thinking, housing and homelessness policy, context and systems
  • Operational management experience within the community and/or public sectors including reporting and budget monitoring
  • Highly effective interpersonal, multi-tasking and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
  • Proven experience in leadership, managing and developing staff and building teams, including motivation, shared purpose and developing a culture of continuous quality improvement
  • Proven experience in program design, delivery and evaluation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Current driver's Victorian license and capacity to travel for business purposes
