Launch Housing is an independent Melbourne based community organisation passionately committed to ending homelessness. From providing high-quality housing to an innovative range of support, education and employment services, we bring solutions to homelessness under one roof for thousands at risk of or experiencing the crisis and trauma of homelessness. With over 400 staff working across 14 locations in metropolitan Melbourne, we combine direct action with advocacy, research and innovation to drive widespread change.
We are currently seeking a passionate Housing Support Worker to join the dedicated team at our South Melbourne site, supporting families living in our crisis accommodation and in the community. The South Melbourne site includes 7 on-site self-contained units, and a number of off-site units, for families for up to three months. The service includes support in securing and maintaining medium to long-term housing and tailored support for parents and children. It provides specialist services for vulnerable children and families (including the Homeless Children's Specialist Support Service).
