How you'll transform lives

Joining our Prioritisation List team, you will provide support to our clients who are assessed by Initial Assessment & Planning (IAP) team, both within Launch Housing and by other IAP and allied agencies, to ensure that they are assisted and prioritised for referrals for accommodation and other services relative to their needs, ensuring effective client outcomes.

Reporting to the Housing and Support Allocations Coordinator, you are expected to:

  • Deliver timely and appropriate referrals for clients on the Prioritisation List to vacancies on the regional Resource Registers, and to other accommodation vacancies which are allocated through the list (ie. Community Housing, Rooming House)
  • Record keeping of clients' referrals received from other programs within Launch Housing and other external services
  • Ensure a comprehensive assessment is provided to the vacancy resource holder service to ensure referrals made best match the available resource
  • Complete tasks associated with Interim Response Level 1, which is a phone-based interaction with clients on the prioritisation list to ensure Launch Housing holds the most up-to-date information about their needs and relative priority, as well as maintaining current consent to refer to vacancies

You will be empathetic and have experience working with people with complex needs from diverse backgrounds.

You'll bring:

  • Diligence and commitment to get the job done to ensure consistent client and team outcomes
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously
  • Current and valid Australian driver's license
  • Passion to make a real difference in the community
