ABOUT THE ROLE

We have a permanent opportunity available of Compliance Officer available at Bridge Housing that could be based at either of our offices (Haymarket/Brookvale) but must be able to travel between locations

As Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and ongoing coordination of the Bridge Housing's asset Compliance Program, ensuring that Bridge Housing is compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements.

THIS IS DONE BY:

• Supporting the Contract and Compliance Manager in their duties in rolling out the Compliance Program, including record Management and administrative duties to track progress of the program and issues relating to its roll out. The Compliance Program includes but is not limited to fire safety maintenance, smoke alarm inspections, electrical safety inspections, lift maintenance, roof anchor maintenance, etc.
• Assisting the Contract and Compliance Manager to track compliance of regulatory and contractual requirements of the Asset Maintenance Plans.
• Ensuring contractor invoices are accurate and coordinating maintenance work that demonstrates the responsible use of the Compliance Program budget.
• Maintaining up to date contractor details, escalating serious or unresolved issues and adhering to relevant Bridge Housing and Asset policies and procedures.
• Keeping accurate records, files and information in the relevant system and providing accurate information and reporting as agreed.
• Responding to all tenant enquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
• Assist in the appropriate maintenance of Bridge Housing assets by adhering to the asset maintenance plan and coordinating scheduled maintenance works in line with the relevant plan and processes

• Degree of equivalent professional qualification or relevant work place experience
• At least 3 years' experience in asset management
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• NSW Driver's license

Salary and Classification:

This role is classified as a Level 4 within the Social Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010. The salary for the role is $79,596 - $85664 + Super + Salary Packaging.
