ABOUT THE ROLE

We have new opportunity available of Manager, Assets Programs available at Bridge Housing. The role is newly created, is full-time, permanent and based in our Haymarket Office.

Reporting to the Director, Assets you will lead a team of Technical Officers to drive the effective implementation of the Planned and Cyclical Maintenance Program, ensuring properties are at a required standard within the allocated budgetary expectations.

THIS IS DONE BY:

  • Supporting the long term sustainability of Bridge Housing by contributing to the development and delivery of the Strategic Asset Management Plan and Asset Maintenance Plans.
  • Leading the delivery of quality homes to our residents by implementing, monitoring and reporting back on adherence to the Assets Maintenance Plan against time and budget forecasts.
  • Leading implementation of the Planned Maintenance program, ensuring that the Technical Officers complete programmed works within budget and to the policies and standards required.
  • Leading the implementation of the Cyclical Maintenance Program, including Lawns Grounds and Cleaning and preventative maintenance programs, ensuring that properties are maintained to standard whilst reducing future maintenance liability.Ensuring accurate scoping and management of all vacant works to ensure they are completed within target timeframes and minimise loss of rental income.
  • Developing, implementing and monitoring audit regime for the various maintenance programs to be delivered through the Technical Officers, ensuring all works undertaken by Bridge Housing and third party contractors meets the necessary building codes, standards, practices and work health and safety requirements.
  • Ensuring superior customer focused services in the Assets Team by developing and implementing processes for delivering efficient and professional responses to customer requests/enquiries, such as disability modification requests, alterations request and mould assessment requests.

PLEASE RESPOND TO THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL CRITERIA IN YOUR APPLICATION LETTER:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications i.e. a degree in business administration, commerce or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years' experience in asset management or equivalent
  • NSW Driver's license
  • White Card (Desirable)

REMUNERATION

The salary for the role is $116,738 - $121,333 + Super + Salary Packaging.
