ABOUT THE ROLE

We have a permanent, part-time opportunity of four days a week, available in our Goulburn Street Office. Ideally, you will have extensive experience in an HR Generalist or Business Partnering Capacity.

The People and Development Business Partner will work collaboratively with the Executive Director, People, Culture and Brand and our other People and Development Business Partner to deliver a full range of People, Development and Culture related services.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Provide coaching and advice to employees to ensure the implementation and maintenance of effective workplace management practices in accordance with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Partner with the business to provide strategic support to business leaders in making good people decisions across the employee life cycle relating to learning and development.
  • Partner, coach and collaborate with Managers to ensure skills assessments are undertaken and development and career plans are in place for all staff members.
  • Coordinate the recruitment and selection process from job analysis/job brief to initial interviews, reference checks, offers and security checks.
  • Coordinate the Learning and Development training calendar, including keeping the systems up to date
  • Coordinate the onboarding process of employees ensuring they have completed the induction program, probation and performance reviews and all mandatory training.
  • Coordinate the exit processes for employees and ensure exit interviews are scheduled and recorded.
  • Develop and deliver training programs.
  • Play a pivotal role in launching and driving HR initiatives that support overall wellness of employees.
  • Provide technical support to employees for Bridge Housing's HRIS system, assist with enquiries relating to all aspects of MyPlace including leave, performance reviews etc.
  • Help cultivate a positive culture, consistency in employee experience and engagement.
  • Deliver on the people strategy including implementation of initiatives as required.
  • Maintain excellent records including the documentation of all people related issues.
  • Assist with People and Culture projects as required.

PLEASE RESPOND TO THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL CRITERIA IN YOUR APPLICATION LETTER:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources; Learning and Development; Business; Management or a related discipline and/or experience in a HR and recruitment for at least 5 years.
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training would be an advantage.
  • Excellent IT skills (including experience with Learning Management Systems and HRIS)

Salary and Classification:

This role is classified as a Level 5 within the Social Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010/Realestate Estate Award. The salary for the role is $93,330 - $97,560 (pro rata) + Super + Salary Packaging.
