Duties and Responsibilities (for full details, see Position Description)

Your role will be diverse, encompassing everything from recruitment processes to managing employee relationships, while also contributing to key strategic decisions. Our working environment is dynamic and varied, you'll be instrumental in delivering our People and Culture Strategy.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Possesses a comprehensive HR toolkit: You're adept across the HR spectrum - from complex employee relations cases to culture change - and can pivot with ease.
  • Has a strong service focus and is an excellent relationship cultivator: You're known for building effective partnerships throughout an organisation, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
  • Has a strategic mindset: You're not only executing plans but also contributing to the development of our long-term objectives.
  • Enjoys operational involvement: You find satisfaction in both the everyday HR tasks and the development of organisational strategies.

This role is fixed term for twelve months, however will be instrumental in reviewing the needs of the People and Culture team in the future, with potential for possible extension.

About you (for full Selection Criteria, see Position Description)

  • tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline (or demonstrated equivalent experience).
  • a high level of experience and understanding of interpreting modern Awards and industrial instruments, with a strong understanding of the Fair Work Act.
  • significant experience as a trusted People and Culture professional supporting people at all levels, including a strong understanding and application of culture and contemporary best practices.
