About the role

A unique opportunity to provide high quality program and administrative support to the Integrated Care team. The team works and collaborates with the Metro North Hospital and Health Service, Children's Health Queensland, the Commonwealth Department of Health, private and community agencies to improve patient outcomes that improve the connectivity between primary care and hospital services.

Key programs of work include the General Practice Liaison Officers (GPLO) program in partnership with the Metro North Hospital and Health Service, development and establishment of digital health systems in partnership with the Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA), the development of clinical and service aligned HealthPathways, and the establishment and rollout of the GP Smart Referral Program in GP practices across Brisbane North PHN.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide project support and coordination to the Integrated Care program area
  • Provide administrative support to internal and external stakeholder groups e.g., hospital collaboratives and GP Liaison Officers
  • Provide extensive and high-quality administrative support to the manager and team. This includes fully participating as part of the broader organisational administration team, regular administration meetings and provision of reception relief where required.
  • With guidance, support contract administration for the Integrated Care program including data entry into the CMM system, monitoring contract deliverables, due diligence checks, stakeholder updates and tracking receipts and invoices
  • Event coordination incorporating in-person events and/or associated online management of systems such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • Coordinate submissions for GP continuing professional development activities

Skills and Experience

  • Qualifications / demonstrated experience in a range of administrative and project support including organising meetings, taking minutes and diary management in a computerised work environment
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exemplary phone and customer service skills, including experience dealing with confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
  • Knowledge of the primary healthcare industry or ability to acquire that knowledge quickly is highly desirable
