Brookville Kindergarten is a community-managed, not-for-profit sessional kindergarten with a rich history of delivering high quality education and care to children and their families in the City of Stonnington. Our classrooms and natural outdoor spaces are welcoming, inviting and specifically designed to enrich the learning possibilities for all children. Our five kindergarten programs are each facilitated by a passionate, dedicated and inspirational teaching team. We are currently seeking a highly passionate Teacher to join our team for one of our 3YO or 4YO (Long Service Leave) programs. With a minimum of two years experience, the applicant will share our values and be willing to continue growing in their teaching practices. The applicant should demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and other professionals; have well-established written communication skills; enhanced documentation skills; experience with the Reggio Emilia approach, project-work and inquiry-based practice; a willingness to be progressive and critically reflect on pedagogy and practice; and be a highly committed team member.

  • Commencing Term 1, 2022.
  • 3YO Part time role: Teaching: Thursday and Friday. 8.00 am to 4.00 pm: Non-teaching: Wednesday: 9.00 am - 2.00 pm.
  • 4YO Full time role: (Long Service Leave) Teaching: Monday to Thursday. 8.00 am to 4.00 pm; Non-teaching: Friday: 9.00 am - 2.00 pm
  • Bachelor Degree qualification required; VIT Registered.
  • Up to date First Aid.
  • VECTEA (2020)
