The Orange Door provides a new way for women, children and young people experiencing family violence, and families who need assistance with the care and wellbeing of children to access the services they need to be safe and supported.

Working with perpetrators of family violence by providing an entry point for men who use/require family violence services as well as intake and assessment and casework:

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing an entry point for Men who use/require family violence services.
  • Providing timely and responsive intake and assessment, casework to men who use violence against women and children.
  • Assisting with the prevention of further male violence through the provision of information, education
    and referrals.

As well as a focus on child wellbeing & family violence, primarily in relation to risk assessment & risk management.
