Brophy Family & Youth Services have been supporting children, young people, families and the south west Victorian community for almost 50 years. We live here; this is our community; we believe in people and in their ability to create the life they want. 

At Brophy you will join a team of just over 180 employees delivering over 40 programs and services across areas including youth engagement, mental health, family violence, foster care, housing support, employment support and disability services.

Our Youth Support Workers provide quality support and case management to young people between the ages of 10-25 years of age who are homeless or at risk of being homeless, transitioning from state care or involved with the youth justice system.

The position is required to promote these programs within appropriate youth and community networks and will act as an advocate for the programs when developing innovative and flexible activities that deliver outcomes for clients.

A commitment to provide intensive individual support to a diverse range of clients with complex needs, along with the ability to negotiate, consult and liaise with industry professionals is key to this role.
