We’re looking for an Events & Executive Support Co-Ordinator with relevant experience who wants to join our 2,000+ team of staff and volunteers to make a difference on a permanent, full-time basis, with offices based in Fitzroy.

THE ROLE

The Events & Executive Support Coordinator is responsible for two core components of work – the development and delivery of events conducted by BSL, and providing administrative support to the Director, Marketing and Engagement.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To be considered for the role and be successful in it, we’re looking for someone who has, amongst other things, the following key skills and experiences:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience in event management and delivering successful events.
  • Technical knowledge and experience using event booking platforms, direct marketing platforms such as Campaign Monitor, MailChimp, etc, and design tools such as inDesign and Photoshop.
  • Experience creating and delivering effective events virtually on Zoom.
  • Relevant experience in providing effective administrative support to executive level management and their teams providing day-to-day office management support.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
  • Understanding of, and empathy with, the values and ideals of BSL.
