We’re looking for a professional Quality Business Partner - Community Aged Care with relevant experience who wants to join our 2,000+ team of staff and volunteers to make a difference on a permanent full-time basis, working 38 hours per week based in Fitzroy.

THE ROLE

The Quality Business Partner works, under the guidance of the Quality and Care Governance Manager, to support the Community Aged Care programs in the Aged Care Division to meet internal and external quality and regulatory requirements. This position plays a key role in ensuring that quality systems and processes are embedded as business as usual in an environment of continual improvement. 

  • Provide information, advice and support to Community Aged Care management and staff to develop and implement quality initiatives and embed a culture of continual improvement.
  • In collaboration with Community Aged Care and Brotherhood's Quality team, develop and review existing policies, processes and measures that capture data to evidence compliance with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards. 
  • In collaboration with Community Aged Care Managers, implement process improvements where identified ensuring that the Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) has all improvement items recorded, actioned, closed and evaluated in a timely manner.
  • Report to Quality and Care Governance Manager and the Community Aged Care managers on the performance of the Quality Management System as required including preparation of statistics/ reports, associated analysis and relevant report preparation for various committees and meetings.

Salary will be in the range of $85,264.31 to $89,129.91 per annum, based on skills and experience plus superannuation.

To be considered for the role and be successful in it, we’re looking for a Quality Business Partner - Community Aged Care who has the following key skills and experiences:

  • Demonstrated experience in aged care.
  • Relevant qualifications in health, aged care, community care or similar
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and conducting internal audits and other assurance activities, risk assessments and/or compliance assessment of policies, procedures and/or systems. Page 4 of 4
  • Relevant experience and knowledge of all aspects of Aged Care, particularly Community Aged Care, the Aged Care Act, Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Experience in the development, implementation, assessment and management of Quality Management Systems in aged care environments.
