An exciting and challenging opportunity has come up for an individual who is organised, analytical in nature, loves data, and precise with communication. Your passion for behaviour change with evidence based reporting and recommendations will have the power make a real difference to the riding conditions Australia wide.

It’s a 3-part gig, you’ll:

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with 100+ councils promoting the transport data and survey collection services that we offer. Recruit and coordinate 2000+ passionate volunteer counters each year.
  2. Process, analyse and visualise large volumes of count data of 1600+ sites to benchmark bicycle usage and promote its use in decision making for better riding conditions
  3. Contribute to our thrilling, new business model. We are growing our data collection methods by exploring and pursuing new technologies available in the transport data collection industry. You’ll help research, pursue and implement the rollout of new technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Bluetooth and GPS.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have research and critical analytical skills. You’ll have a talent for data crunching and know your way around Excel. Skills in GIS, InDesign and programming would be an advantage.
  • Have a business head with a bike lovers heart and an interest in urban planning. Experience or education qualifications in city planning or transport planning preferred.
  • Be experienced in delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Be a team player who is autonomous, resilient, and loves a challenge
  • Excel while working independently. We’ll work with you to tackle the projects and program goals, but will give you plenty of autonomy to make it happen in your own way.

This is for a part-time or full-time role so we’re open to a 3, 4 or 5 day work arrangement.
