Brisbane Youth Service is a medium-sized incorporated association providing holistic responses to vulnerable young people (aged 12 – 25 years) and young families who are experiencing homelessness or are at-risk of becoming homeless.

The child care worker will be needed to assist the Family Support Workers & Group Coordinator to provide high quality trauma informed care for the attendees children during Parenting Group. This position observes parent/child interaction and works on providing age-appropriate therapeutic activities for each child’s skill development. Required to provide child care support to a small group of children during the parent group work.
To undertake the position as the Child Care Worker a qualification in child care is desirable and you will have experience in caring for young children; have a current Queensland driver’s license and you must hold a current Working with Children Positive Notice (blue card).
