‘Hi, I am Belinda! I’m a vibrant and creative 30 year old and I live in my colourful home surrounded by organic vege gardens, chooks, bees and my beloved dog. I love all things colour and make felt art in my home studio, sharing and selling it at local craft markets. I am also a singer, a cook, a lover of animals and nature, a dancer, and follower of permaculture. I am highly sociable and love a good laugh with friends in cafes. I am creating a business around my art, love of cooking and animals. I also happen to need support to achieve my vision around living independently, my work, friendships and home life. I have a team of fun paid mentors who creatively assist me to achieve my goals.’
My family, microboard (my executive team) and I are looking for creative self-starters to join my team as a mentor/supporter. As part of my team, you will coach me as I learn new skills; guide and support me in my creative business; guide me to engage with my community and grow friendships, support me in practical ways in my home and community as I grow in my ability to do things myself.
Your employer will be B’s Beautiful Bunch of Spirited Beings Inc. We are a microboard whose function is to assist me to build and safeguard the vibrant life I want in my home and community.
You will also need to have a full driver’s licence, Police Check and WWC check (or be willing to obtain them).
Qualifications and Experience: Qualifications and experience will be considered, but are not necessary as full training will be provided.
Hours of Work: Approximately 16-20 hours per week including weekends and overnights. Flexible working hours are available. We are a family friendly employer.
Remuneration: You will be paid under the SCHADS award, plus superannuation, according to your qualifications and experience.
