In this exciting newly created position you will be focussing on several flexible, wrap around service delivery types that support the ongoing safety, stability and health development of infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers and their families. Encompassing programs such as the PASDS program, Day Stay sessions short term Family Case Management this role provides a variety of services for our vulnerable families whilst all focussing on the vitally important area of the early childhood years.
This unique position has been created to increase our support for vulnerable infants and young children with the focus on the early years. This is an opportunity to join experienced and likeminded individuals who have a passion for supporting families with infants and young children.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with the team by applying your specialised knowledge, guidance, advice and recommendations through your experience and practice. You will play an active role including supporting the team in the delivery of a high quality, responsive and effective service. As a level 5 Practitioner you would provide support to level 4 Practitioners, manage complex cases and take a lead role in reflective case reviews and presentation of case studies.
Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Welfare Studies or their equivalent, or other tertiary qualification appropriate to public welfare practice.
You are an enthusiastic and committed individual with demonstrated skills and experience in early childhood and working collaboratively to achieve positives outcomes. Your highly developed cultural awareness and sensitivity, partnered with excellent communication skills, will enable you to quickly build strong relationships with our clients and key stakeholders. You are not afraid of a challenge and constantly seek to grow and develop.
