The aim of the Kinship First Supports Practitioner is to support the safety, stability and development of children and young people in shorter-term (three months or less) statutory kinship placements by enhancing family capability and parenting skills, improving relationships between the child, parents and caregivers and improving social connectedness.
Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Welfare Studies, Community Service or related discipline.
