People, Leadership and Teams (PLT) Division provide a range of strategic and operational services to the organisation. The team focusses on the talented and committed people (employees and volunteers) who are the driving force behind our success in reducing the impact of all cancers for all Victorians.

The People Services Team operates as a shared service model, supporting a broad range of operational people services and dealing with internal and external stakeholders including other PLT team members, applicants, employees, people managers and other key stakeholders. The People Services Team enables Cancer Council to maintain and build capacity and skills to attract, retain and develop our employees and volunteers; enabling our people to deliver to our Strategic Goals.

About your opportunity

We are seeking a People Services Administrator to join the People Leadership and Teams Division. Reporting to the Manager position your role is to:

  • Provide administration support with a focus on staff compliance, induction/onboarding activities, recruitment administration and volunteering
  • Deliver prioritised, timely and high-quality people-based administration and operational activities including preparation employment contract related documentation
  • Support the Division’s finance requirements and business processes

All about you

We are looking for someone with:

  • Extensive experience in an administration role (A qualification in administration, business support or equivalent would be desirable)
  • Experience working within a fast-paced complex environment/shared services model
  • Sound computer literacy and familiarity of or experience using other HRIS or CRM programs
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
