ABOUT CANDELLA

Candella Ltd is a for-purpose organisation providing recovery-oriented mental health services within the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Candella launched in October 2018 and has since grown to 200 employees, providing services to more than 900 people across Melbourne.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Managing Director, our Quality Assurance Manager ensures that Candella has the insights, resources, and solutions it needs to comply with the law, achieve and keep accreditation against external quality standards, and meet our own internal quality standards.

In this key role you will lead the delivery of quality systems that support the organisations’ ability to empower people to improve their wellbeing, one step at a time, by:

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders in the process of ensuring quality, safe and compliant service delivery
  • Being the subject expert for legislation, standards, and compliance requirements for Candella
  • Recommending positive and practical approaches to applying requirements to policy, procedures, audits, and registers
  • Leading a constructive and inclusive culture that is person centred and aligned to Candella’s values of Human, Capable and Effective

ABOUT YOU

Key to your success will be your:

  • Strong quality and compliance experience within the community sector
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of recovery-oriented, community-based mental health services
  • Positive and effective people skills
  • You must hold an Australian Driver’s License, ‘Employee’ Working with children check and a NDIS Worker Screen.

Due to government mandate, we will also require evidence of your full COVID vaccination status.
