The Role

As Programs & Administration Assistant you will provide administrative support to a busy team, inclusive of the State Manager, Programs Officer & Psychosocial Support Workers.

In this dynamic role you will assist our Programs Officers with all administrative responsibilities such as logistics, event planning, catering and client communication. This role will also provide administrative support to our Psychosocial Support Workers with such tasks as database management, appointment setting and updating the client management system.

Supporting the State Manager, duties will include accounts processing, office management, customer service, supporting relationships with referrers in the community and coordinating logistics for fundraising events.

Skills Required

  • A background in administration is essential, coupled with outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
  • The capacity to manage multiple tasks in a frequently changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and also autonomously.
  • Project support and planning experience.
  • Basic knowledge of account and book-keeping tasks.
  • Excellent computer skills with Salesforce experience would be highly regarded
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills

Please note a current open driver's license, ability to obtain a first aid certificate and the flexibility to travel, work weekends and evenings (with notice) are a requirement for this role.

  • Job type: Fixed Term, 12 months; Full-time
  • Hours of work: 5 days / 37.5 hours per week
