Canteen also engages in community awareness and seeks to develop awareness of cancer support for young people around Australia. Canteen aims to create highly accessible, youth friendly, integrated service hubs as well as a range of online supports, that provide evidence-based interventions and support to young people aged 12–25 years impacted by cancer.

This role is a unique opportunity to join a passionate regular giving team that is responsible for generating over $25 million a year to help Canteen achieve its mission to be in the corner of every young person impacted by cancer in Australia.

We are looking for an experienced Regular Giving Specialist to play a pivotal role in our Individual Giving Team overseeing the acquisition and retention of our regular givers. The Regular Giving Specialist will manage complex partnerships with external agencies including face to face suppliers, telemarketing agencies, printers, mailing houses and others as needs arise, to help deliver multi-channel direct marketing campaigns. Canteen are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced fundraiser who is committed to providing our supporters with the best possible giving experience.

Selection Criteria

  • 3+ years direct marketing or regular giving experience
  • A broad understanding of fundraising techniques, the regular giving lifecycle and general direct marketing principles
  • Proven skills in project management and delivery of direct marketing campaigns across a wide range of media including direct mail, telemarketing and digital marketing.
  • Outstanding stakeholder relationship skills and demonstrated experience in managing third party suppliers, maintaining relationships, and resolving conflict.
  • Experience of CRM management, data targeting, segmentation, testing and response analysis.
  • A track record of effectiveness in achieving performance targets.
  • Proven experience in supporter journey mapping from strategy to implementation
  • An approachable team player who will contribute to our collaborative team culture
