Montrose Therapy & Respite Services have been working with children and young people with disabilities since 1933. We are a not-for-profit who pride ourselves on our rich history of providing innovative, multi disciplinary, person centred evidence-based therapies to our predominantly paediatric clients.

About the Role

Due to exceptional growth we are currently seeking a switched on, customer focused and experienced Intake Officer to join the team at our Head Office in Darra on a permanent basis. You will be required to provide exceptional customer service to prospective new and existing customers whilst providing support to our administrative team where required.

Please note that you must be available for rotational shifts between 7:30am – 6pm and be available for an immediate start.

We are open to part time hours for the right candidate between 2 - 3 days to help accommodate your study or lifestyle.

Customer satisfaction is of paramount importance, therefore in order to effectively assist customers and their enquiries, you will be required to understand the scope of services that Montrose can offer and identify how they match customer needs. This will provide further assistance to the Therapists and will make you an integral member of the team.

Skills & Attributes

  • Exceptional knowledge in MS Office Suite and Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in general administrational tasks and be computer literate.
  • Customer service focus (internal and external) with a can-do attitude.
  • Applies attention to detail in delivering work outcomes.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise workflow.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in your work.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to achieving team outcomes.
  • we need you to have a current working with children (blue card) and be eligible to apply for NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Be an Australian on NZ Citizen on Permanent Resident, or have a relevant visa.
  • Be vaccinated against COVID-19

Role & Responsibilities

  • Attending to all phone calls and enquiries in a professional manner.
  • Provide accurate information to prospective customers.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of available services.
  • Liaise with Therapy and Support staff to ensure the needs of new customers are communicated to the appropriate stakeholders.
