As an approved provider with Veterans’ Home Care Service, Home Care packages and the National Disability Insurance Scheme, we are experiencing an increasing need for Community Care Workers to help people remain independent at home.
As a Community Care Worker, you will be delivering a range of services such as:
- Assisting with personal care
- Respite
- Medication assistance
- Meal preparation
- Light housework – including vacuuming, bathroom cleaning and bed making
- Shopping and transport to medical appointments
Essential Criteria
- H.E.A.R.T Values – Honesty, Excellence, Accountability, Respect & Teamwork
- Certificate III or IV in aged care / Disability / Home & Community Care or Individual Support
- Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate & CPR certificate
- Current Federal Police Criminal Record Check
- Evidence of Immunisation history including annual flu & covid-19
- Smart Phone with active voicemail & access to the internet
Desirable
- Previous experience working in Aged Care and/or Disability sector
