Carers WA is the peak body representing the needs and interests of carers in Western Australia and is part of a national network of Carers Associations providing a range of support services, supporting Carers across Western Australia. Carers provide unpaid care and support to family members and friends who have disability, mental illness, a chronic condition, terminal illness, an alcohol or other drug issue or who are frail aged.
This is a very diverse opportunity for a highly motivated and diligent Executive Support Officer to step into a role that will see them be an integral member of day-to-day support operations across the business.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, our successful candidate will support the Executive Management Team, the Carers WA Board and the wider Corporate Services team (including ICT, WHS and Human Resources) in varied aspects of meeting and event coordination, minute taking, building and record management, as well as playing a key role in the onboarding process for new staff.
This is a true support role that will see you gain exposure to all aspects of the Corporate Team’s service delivery. This opportunity is ideal if you are looking to step into a role that will see you work closely with stakeholders across the business, for this reason, it is essential that our successful candidate be able to build and maintain positive rapport and possess a “can-do” approach to their work.
