About the role

This critical role forms part of our busy Application and Support Development team. This is a unique opportunity to build, implement and support our business intelligence solutions.

You will be ready to step up and lead a small, dynamic, capable team of professionals. Reporting directly to the Business Intelligence Team Leader, your day to day will consist of:

  • Supporting continuous improvement processes through a disciplined, agile delivery methodology
  • Developing products to support the needs of the business
  • Assess possible solution options in addition to identifying opportunities for improving development standards and processes
  • Delivering high quality solutions that meet agreed functional and non-functional requirements
  • Generating reports for internal and external customers for business performance monitoring and business decision making

About you

Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with excellent people and communication skills, you are a clear expert within your field. You have experience in a similar role and possess:

  • At least 5 years development experience with a minimum degree level qualification in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and have a solid understanding of modern development practices
  • A good understanding of modern software development life cycles (iterative/agile), as well as experience developing solutions using: M query, Dax and TSQL
  • At a minimum 5 years’ experience in the Microsoft's Business Intelligence Stack and Power BI environment

You are proud of your ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, prioritising your workload, and managing your time effectively in order to successfully meet sprint targets.
