We are looking for our next Disability Services Officer (DSO). The DSO is an integral part of our middle management team and is the perfect role for you to diversify your skills and experience in the Disability Industry.

About the Role

The DSO is an established role at Casa Services that provides administrative support to the Home and Community Support Program (HCS). HCS provides services delivery across three areas:

  • Home Support: Is a services provided in a participants home aimed at maximising living, social and recreational skills
  • Centre Support: Is a high quality community based and individualised day service that supports and promotes inclusion for people with disability
  • Community Support: Is provided to individuals in the community to encourage independence and promote a sense of being a valued and participating member of the community

Reporting directly to the HCS Program Manager, the role will give you an opportunity to be apart of our Middle Management Team. You will possess strong communication skills and be responsible for managing and supporting front line workers in providing the best possible outcomes for our participants.

This role gives you the opportunity to work at an operational level, ensuring our programs are appropriately maintained and reviewed. This role is participant focused and you will have the opportunity to manage and coordinator staff rosters in line with participant requirement and NDIS funding.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about disability with the skills to support to a small and well established team. You will possess excellent time management skills and will have the opportunity to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

If this sounds like you then please apply:

  • Relevant qualification (minimum Diploma) in Human Services, and/or a combination of qualification and experience
  • Knowledge of NDIS guidelines and experience using the NDIS portal is highly regarded
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in administration roles within the disability industry is preferable
  • Have strong values and are looking to make a difference in the lives of those living with a disability in Central Australia
  • A completed NDIS Worker Screening Clearance is essential for this role
