About the Opportunity

Located in our Mayfield office and reporting to the Branch Manager, our Employment Account Officer will:

  • Conduct business development activities with local businesses such as reverse marketing, telemarketing and lead generating activities to support our jobseekers to secure ongoing suitable employment.
  • Identify and develop collaborative relationships with clients and employers with a focus on securing successful job placements and supporting new business opportunities

Essential Criteria

  • NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current driver’s licence (minimum P2)
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as per NSW health orders

Preferred Criteria

We are looking for a results-oriented person, who has either a recruitment, business development or account management background, who is driven by helping people. You will be passionate about enhancing customer experience and motivated to succeed with a proven track record in meeting KPIs, building relationships and displaying a resilient can-do attitude.

While the position is primarily based at our Mayfield office, you may be required to work from any of our locations from time to time.

  • Experience in Employment Services and an understanding of strategies to address barriers to employment
  • Ability to work unsupervised in challenging environments and prioritise workloads
  • Ability to work in a team to achieve common goals and outcomes
  • High level of personal integrity, professionalism, empathy, and knowledge towards people with disabilities
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to generate placement leads resulting in sustainable employment outcomes for clients
  • Strong networking and sales background with a passion for developing relationships and meeting new people
  • Willingness to work in various positions and under a range of circumstances with participants to stabilise employment
  • Willingness to develop or existing knowledge of the local labour market and community networks
  • High level of computer literacy and knowledge of information systems (knowledge of ESS and JRL highly regarded)
  • Experience working with in the disability service sector (highly regarded)
