About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, our Employment Account Officers conduct business development activities with local businesses such as reverse marketing, telemarketing and lead generating activities to support our jobseekers to secure ongoing suitable employment. Identifying and developing collaborative relationships with clients and employers with a focus on securing successful job placements and supporting new business opportunities.

We are looking for a results-oriented person, who has either a recruitment, business development or account management background, who is driven by helping people. You will be passionate about enhancing customer experience and motivated to succeed with a proven track record in meeting KPIs, building relationships and displaying a resilient can do attitude.

This position is a full-time role and will be primarily based at our Toronto office, however you may be required to work from any of our locations.

  • Experience in Employment Services and an understanding of strategies to address barriers to employment
  • Ability to work unsupervised in challenging environments, to prioritise workloads
  • Ability to work in a team to achieve common goals and outcomes
  • High level of personal integrity, professionalism, empathy and knowledge towards people with disabilities
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of computer literacy and knowledge of information systems (knowledge of ESS and JRL highly regarded)
  • Proven ability to generate placement leads resulting in sustainable employment outcomes for clients
  • Strong networking and sales background with a passion for developing relationships and meeting new people
  • Willingness to work in various positions and under a range of circumstances with participants to stabilise employment
  • Engaging personality with a tenacious attitude throughout the sales process
  • Knowledge of the local labour market and community networks
  • Experience working with in the disability service sector highly regarded

Essential Criteria:

  • NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current driver’s licence (minimum P2)
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as per NSW health orders
