About the role

CatholicCare Broken Bay has big plans to invest in technology to better meet the needs of the clients and communities we serve. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Information Officer to lead our digital transformation and positively impact the lives of the thousands of individuals and families we support each year.

This is a newly created Permanent Full-time position reporting directly to the Executive Director and will be part of the Senior Leadership Team.

Core Duties

  • Provide leadership, direction and management to our small IT and project team
  • Provision of strategic and technical recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team on the delivery of effective and cost-efficient ICT services in complex environments
  • Manage the relationships with our external partners
  • Manage the organisational IT budgets and reporting requirements

Key Requirements

  • Post graduate qualifications in IT or computer science or an equivalent qualification in a related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a CIO, CTO, or other executive ICT role in a large organisation
  • Experience in the development and implementation of IT strategy, governance, security, risk, and project management frameworks
  • Experience managing large IT projects that have delivered significant and positive business impacts
  • Experience working in a human service organisation is desirable but not essential
  • A Criminal History Check
  • A NSW Driver’s license and insured vehicle.
