Our client is an international humanitarian charity that has been bringing people together to create a more just and peaceful world for over 70 years. Working to reduce forced displacement across Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific, they support uprooted people in their role as leaders, working in solidarity with long-term local partners and in collaboration with local, regional and global networks, to help create, together, a world where people uprooted by conflict and disaster have a safe place to belong.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who is a real storyteller and can communicate from the heart to connect with audiences. You will be looking to utilise your broad communications and content production experience in the not-for-profit sector. You will be sourcing and producing content for use across multiple channels, write, edit, produce and distribute video, digital and print content to engage new audiences and deepen the commitment of existing supporters.
We also need someone who is a genuine collaborator – who enjoys and shines in working with others and in managing relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Reporting to the Head of Content you will execute excellent project management skills, effectively and efficiently manage all content sourcing logistics; from planning and organising story gathering trips to curating and managing their multi-media database.
The role is busy and varied and will suit someone looking to use their broad communications experience and bring an understanding of operating strategically, exercising sound judgement and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The team are sociable, hardworking, and passionate about global justice and reaching fundraising targets, so that they can continue to provide support to people forced from their homes by conflict and disaster around the world!
